- Pros and Cons of a World without Money, taxes…
Chapter 3 of the CSQ Common Sense 101 guide discusses the benefits of a world with no need of money. I make broad assumptions that pharmaceutical companies are unable to financially afford to market a cure for cancer; that perfect medical imaging and diagnostic tools are too expensive to build at present, that having no money will result in 100% employment, 2 Day Work Weeks, ample time for invention and innovation, permitting us time for research in space, antigravity, and other important technologies should we chose. In a world without money, I assume that our best and brightest students will be encouraged to make their society a better place without hindrance.
If history teaches us anything however, it is simply that any system can be abused for personal gain. Maybe there are huge productivity gaps that will be created by this change.
